Crown & Champa Resorts, a leading name in Maldivian tourism, recently appointed Mohamed Solah as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a historic milestone for the company.
Solah is the first Maldivian to hold the CEO position at Crown & Champa, which operates nine resorts across the Maldives. This appointment represents a significant moment for both the company and the Maldivian tourism sector, symbolizing the elevation of local talent to the highest levels of the industry.
Solah has over 20 years of experience in hospitality, beginning his career at Meeru Island Resort, where he initially worked as a telephone operator. His dedication and expertise led to rapid advancement, and he held numerous managerial positions in both local and international properties. Notably, he served as the General Manager at Komandoo Island Resort in 2018 and held a key role as the Cluster General Manager with Zaya Hospitality in Dubai prior to his new CEO position
