President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the Dhiffushi Island Council and the Women’s Development Committee (WDC) on Monday to discuss the island’s key development needs. The meeting took place at the Huraa Council Secretariat.
The Council highlighted several priorities, including urgent shore protection measures, upgrading the school to offer A-Level education, and improving healthcare services. Meanwhile, the WDC emphasized the need for a multi-purpose hall to support their initiatives.
President Muizzu and Cabinet Ministers provided updates on ongoing and planned development projects for the island. The President assured that the Government would work with relevant ministries and agencies to address the concerns raised and take necessary actions.
