The Maldives Police Service is seeking the public’s help in gathering information regarding the fire that occurred at the Housing Ministry building on December 12, 2024.
The incident impacted buildings housing three key ministries: the Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Development, the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, and the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure.
To assist with the ongoing investigation, the Police are encouraging anyone with relevant details to contact the Major Crime Investigation Department at 9911099.
Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau has assured that a team of foreign experts will soon be brought in to provide additional support for the investigation.
