The suspect, a Nepalese woman employed as a domestic worker, is accused of mistreating the child.
In a statement to the media, the police confirmed that the case was reported on Tuesday but noted that no arrests have been made yet.
This investigation follows a similar case in 2023, where a maid was taken into custody for child abuse.
