Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives, Wang Lixin, paid a farewell courtesy call on President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu as her tenure in the Maldives approaches its conclusion.
During the meeting, President Muizzu expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Wang’s significant contributions to strengthening Maldives-China relations. He highlighted her instrumental role in facilitating various developmental projects across multiple sectors in the Maldives.
Ambassador Wang, in turn, conveyed her gratitude for the support and cooperation she received throughout her assignment.
The discussion also touched upon the progress of ongoing development projects supported by China, with both parties exploring potential avenues for further collaboration.
Ambassador Wang Lixin has served as China’s Ambassador to the Maldives since her appointment on September 6, 2021.
