President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has begun an official three-day visit to Raa Atoll, during which he will tour eleven islands.
The visit kicks off today with stops at Vaadhoo, Rasgetheemu, An’golhitheemu, Hulhudhuhfaaru, and Ungoofaaru.
Tomorrow, the President is scheduled to visit Maakurathu, Maduvvari, Rasmaadhoo, and Innamaadhoo.
On the final day, he will conclude the trip with visits to Fainu and Kinolhas.
This tour is part of President Muizzu’s ongoing initiative, launched last year, to visit all inhabited islands in the Maldives. The goal is to engage with local councils and residents directly.
Earlier this month, the President visited islands in Gaafu Alif and Gaafu Dhaalu atolls as part of the same series of trips.
