Parliament Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla and several MPs departed for Geneva last night for the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) assembly.
The 149th IPU Assembly will be held in Geneva, Switzerland from October 13 to 17. Abdul Raheem is accompanied by Villimale’ MP Mohamed Ismail, Fuvahmulah Medhu MP Ali Fazad, Hulhudhoo MP Mohamed Shahid and Kanditheemu MP Ameen Faisal.
