Tree Top Hospital Wraps Up Health Camp in Laamu Atoll

Tree Top Hospital successfully concluded its third health camp of the year in Gan, Laamu Atoll.

Organized in collaboration with Gan Regional Hospital and the Laamu Atoll Council, the camp brought specialized healthcare services directly to the residents of Gan and nearby islands. Medical experts from Tree Top Hospital conducted consultations, health screenings, and knowledge-sharing sessions aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery across the region.

A highlight of the camp was an informative session on nutrition, led by Tree Top Hospital’s Clinical Dietician, Reeba Mary Tomychan. These sessions, which emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition, were well-received by attendees. The hospital also facilitated targeted learning sessions, including one for the Gan Regional Hospital team on its role in effective treatment and another aimed at empowering students of Laamu Hamad School with healthy eating practices.

“We are honored to serve the Laamu Gan community and contribute to their overall well-being. Our collaboration with Gan Regional Hospital and Laamu Atoll Council was key to making this initiative possible,” the hospital stated.

Dr. Srivatsan Sridhar G, CEO of Tree Top Hospital, emphasized the hospital’s dedication to accessible, high-quality healthcare for all Maldivians. “Through these health camps, we’re not only providing medical services but also building healthier and better-informed communities,” he remarked.

The Laamu Gan health camp served over 300 individuals. Combined with the previous two camps, Tree Top Hospital has delivered healthcare consultations to approximately 917 Maldivians this year.
