The Maldives Zakat House has extended support to Gaza by supplying drinking water as humanitarian aid.
According to the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, this initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Qatar Red Crescent.
The Qatar Red Crescent began distributing water today, with 6,000 cases already delivered to Al Shifa Hospital and Al Hayat Hospital.
In total, the organization plans to distribute 50,000 cases of water to benefit 60,000 people, facilitated through the assistance of the Zakat House.
