President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has embarked on a two-day visit to South Ari Atoll as part of his ongoing nationwide council consultation initiative.
During the visit, the President will engage with local councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDC) on the islands of Dhangethi, Mahibadhoo, and Omadhoo. These meetings aim to assess the needs of the communities, understand living conditions, and prioritize future development projects.
This tour is part of the President’s broader effort to consult councils across the country, having already met with representatives from 185 local councils. The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive and responsive governance.
President Muizzu is accompanied by a delegation of Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials. The visit is scheduled to conclude tomorrow.
